The site is live, and ready to go. Which is very cool. The time from conception to now was very short and that is probably one of the best things.
I have spent about $1200 or so to get it up and running, and that includes about $700 in articles (I think I spend too much on articles). Now, I need to make that money back. What I need is suppliers, and I have started trying to get those (I have only called one). I plan to call another supplier today, a big one. I want to get at least 3 before I push the site public.
For the affiliate sites I will land at about $2200 for the month. This is good, not great but I am OK with it. It will help fund the Dropshipping site, and give me some breathing room. I am also contemplating buying another dropshipping site for about $1000. I seem to be spending a lot of money in hopes that this effort (affiliate sites, dropshipping sites, etc…) will blossom into something that I can live off of.
I really think that one of my previous ideas is about ready for pushing up to the top. I had an idea to create a cleaning service and have held back due to my day job. I have been waiting for the right time (once I don’t have a day job), but I don’t think I should wait.
I need to start working on my health specifically my diet and exercise. I recently stopped drinking soda which was a big deal for me. I used to drink nothing but soda (literally). It took about 5 days of fairly painful withdrawal, but I have only drank water for about a month and a half now. I do mix in some flavorings, I use Stur which contains stevia but no sugar. It tastes great, and was extremely helpful for my transition. I started out with a lot of the flavorings per glass, but have now started to use less, I think I can ween myself off of it (not necessary).
