Travel is a bitch for working on this project. So I haven’t done as much as I would like, but have pressed on. Here are the details:
I now have 9 domains that I plan to use for the Private Blog Network. They have a wide range of topics, but should serve well. They each have pretty good Page Authority and should help me rank well.
I also created a program to help me find expired domains that should rank well. It basically searches google for the top 100 entries from a certain time range. It scrapes each page and collects all the external links. For each link it does a DNS query to see if the host is active. If not found, it checks if the domain is avialable, if so, it gets the PA/DA and root links from Moz. It works pretty well, and I am happy with it. I just don’t know what the PA/DA will translate to in PR. So far all the domains I have gotten are right around 30 PA. I expect that to be about PR 3. With 9+ links of PR3, my site should be close to PR4. That should be enough to capture the number 1 spot quickly.
I am also working on checklist for new websites. There is just so much to do when launching a site that I need someway of keeping track and making sure I don’t miss anything.
Finally, I have been keeping up with ordering articles on Textbroker, and have 15 articles written with 5 on the way for the main site. I also have 6 articles written and 5 on the way for the blog network.
When done the blog network will be 25 sites. PR of 3/4 each. 10 articles each. All on separate class c ips. Separate themes.
Cost breakdown for the network:
25 * $12 for registration
250 * $10 for articles
Good news is that I can use the network for links to other money sites, as long as I keep the network safe.
That is it for now. Can’t wait until I finally launch this flippin’ site.
